Without books
life lacks imagination
Reading takes me away from everything. The world around me disappears and I am transported into the world I'm reading.
I become the main character.
I fight their battles. I love their beloved ones. I face down their trials with courage I might not have in the real world.
Life becomes more when I read and I don't know who I'd be without books and without all the endless possibilities those books bring me.
That's why I started writing. I wanted my worlds and my words to impact just one person the way I am impacted. If I can achieve that, then I count that as a success, and a happy one at that.
